Today's Activities Activity One - Walkthroughs with Google Forms All administrators need to do observations of classrooms, model programs, and other events. Check-out the Classroom Walk-through Form that is used by a principal in Clovis Unified School District. I would like for you to create one simliar to this for your use later on. If you have a coworker in the room, you can collaborate with them if you'd like! If you'd like, I can share this with you as a starting point!
1. Create an account at docs.google.com or login with your existing account. 2. Create a new "form" from the menu and create a walkthrough document that you would mimic what you currently use! 3. Once you have all the questions you want (and have a custom theme), click the link on the bottom of the screen to see the fruits of your labor.
4. Now go to docs.google.com on your iPad (or if you downloaded the Google app, you can get there too). For more information on designing Classroom Walk-throughs with Google Forms, here's some additional information on the 21st Century Walkthrough.
Goal: To create a short
video
as if you were traveling across the country as a reporter for your
local newspaper. Your task as this news reporter is to interview
various people from a new town (perhaps Santa Cruz?) and find three
interesting facts about the area to report. This can take place in the
past (farming in the 1800's), present, or future (a vision of what you
think Santa Cruz might be in 20 years?). Take on the persona of a
"character" you might know, or even a local celebrity! (please
limit your project
to 3-5 minutes).
Ready? Follow the steps below.
